Voices of History began with a simple frustration: the most interesting people who ever lived are almost impossible to actually meet. You can read them, watch a film about them, stand in front of their portrait — but you can't ask them the thing you're actually wondering.

We'd spent years building systems that bring people and ideas to life, and it became obvious that the tools finally existed to change that. Not to fake anyone, but to build a careful, faithful way to let a person walk up to the past and start a conversation.

So we built the whole thing — a shared foundation of sourced, faithful figures — and pointed it at every place people meet history: museums, classrooms, games, and the stories creators tell. Same standard behind each one. Different door into the same room.
